St. Mark's
"Church in the Park"

June 8, 2008

On June 8th, St. Mark celebrated its 10th annual "Church in the Park" worship at Murphy Park in Sunnyvale, California.

Pastor Rod's message, "The Abraham Difference", based on Romans 4:18-21, spoke about Abraham and his faith that God could provide a child to he and his wife, even though they were past child bearing years. With God, all things are possible!

Following the service, everyone was treated to a wonderful BBQ meal of hamburgers and hot dogs, along with all the trimmings and a table full of salads and desserts!

In addition to the food, many enjoyed the warm sun and fellowship with each other.

Held the same weekend as Sunnyvale's annual "Art and Wine Festival", St. Mark members also supported a booth in the children's area.

Providing the kids with several different crafts they could make, the kids and parents were also told about St. Mark's Vacation Bible School to be held in July.
