Mother's Day 2000
At St. Mark
On Sunday, June 14th, St. Mark celebrated Mother's Day with the rest of the nation as we celebrated God's blessings through our mothers.
A tradition at St. Mark is to provide all ladies, moms or not, with a flower. This year a rose was provided, as prepared by Connie!
A recent tradition is to provide several people with cameras and take photos of the ladies, along with their children, family or friends. The photos are then presented to them the following week in a stylized paper frame for placement in their home.
Although some shots are planned, some are also candid. Smile Barb!
Finally, St. Mark always ejoys the celebration of those celebrating Mother's Day for the first time (smile Julie and Katie!)...
And the children who make moms the moms that they are.
St. Mark offers many activities for all age groups, including Sunday worship, Bible class and Sunday School. If you would like more information, call St. Mark at (408) 736-6605 or read more information on our web site by clicking here!
