Farewell Luncheon
John and Kellie Bartz
Arley, Barbara & Emilie Pentico

As the Bible teaches, we are to be "good and faithful" servants of God.

St. Mark has been blessed throughout its fifty years with many good and faithful servants, by which God's ministry has been allowed to grow.

Without the many hours of unselfish giving from God's servants, it would be very difficult for God's ministry to expand.

Unfortunately, on occasion, God has other plans for His servants and they go to other places where God can use their talents and gifts for His good.

On June 27, 2004, St. Mark celebrated the many years of service to God's faithful servants, John and Kellie and Arley, Barbara and Emilie, who are now leaving for new challenges.

These occasions bring mixed emotions as we celebrate new opportunities for those leaving, and also think about God's ministry without their support.

Along with an excellent food buffet, the celebration also included super fellowship as everyone had a chance to reminisce over the many years of hard work and fun that St. mark has enjoyed.

Throughout the festivities, members had opportunities to say good-bye and wish God's blessings on their new adventures.

With his niece still in Sunnyvale, you can be assured John and Kellie will be back to visit Rachel!

Everyone had the opportunity to leave a few words of appreciation.

To John and Kellie, Arley, Barbara and Emilie, thank you very much for all your years of faithful service to our Lord's ministry at St. Mark. God's blessings on your future.

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. John 12:26
