St. Mark's Picnic
September 12, 2000
For years, St. Mark has celebrated a summer picnic at a local park where plenty of food, fellowship and activities are provided for all.
For the past several years, St. Mark has also enjoyed the company with New Life Mission, who shares our facilities.
With all that was going on,this young lady was satisfied to drink some cold lemonade and relax in the afternoon sun.
With the late summer heat already provided, Trent and Dennis received even more as they slaved over a hot BBQ pit. Great job!
As can be seen, the food line was one of the favorite places to be.
Having let the food settle for a little while, John was then able to convince most people to leave their comfortable locations and try a little fun with the various games as shown below.
In addition to John's official games, an unofficial full-scale water fight broke out that left many in cool, wet clothes. Actually, it felt really good!
One young man showed some outstanding water throwing form as demonstrated here!
St. Mark offers many activities for all age groups, including Sunday worship, Bible class and Sunday School. If you would like more information, call St. Mark at (408) 736-6605 or read more information on our web site by clicking here!
