St. Mark's 1998 Pilgrim Dinner

As everyone knows, Thanksgiving is that special time of the year when we take the time to stop and thank God for all the wonderful blessings that he has bestowed upon us. As a means of thanking all those who have volunteered countless hours towards God's service at St. Mark, the AAL sponsors the annual Pilgrim Dinner.

With all age groups in attendance, and numbering about 120, everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving spirit as we shared in Christian fellowship with each other.

With the turkeys and potatoes having been donated by AAL, the dinner still required many hours of help by those who baked the turkeys and prepared all the other foods. Without their help, the dinner could not have been the huge success that it was!

Of course, no meal at St. Mark would have been complete without Pastor Rod providing the final taste test of the turkey!
Finally, after many hours of preparation, the wonderful meal was ready for eating. For this meal and everything else, we give praise and thanks to God!
And for the youngsters, absolute amazement at the size of the dessert table that awaited them!
