"Backdoor Puppets"

LWML National Convention

Backdoor Puppet's
First "Public" Appearance

Although Backdoor Puppets had performed on many occasion's for its home congregation, St. Mark in Sunnyvale California, their double performance at the San Jose Convention Center for the Lutheran Women's Missionary League's national convention was their first "public" performance.

The Backdoor Puppet's performance was based on six skits centered around early Bible stories, one skit with a whale and a discussion between God and one praying the "Lord's Prayer."

In addition to their playful banter, the puppets also played several well known songs on their bells. This was one of the highlights of the performance!

With more than 2,000 women and men in attendance, the Backdoor Puppets performed in the exhibition hall where many exhibitors represented various Christian organizations. On the average, the Backdoor Puppets had 30+ people watching one of their skits.

With one "roadie" show under their belts, the Puppets are looking forward to many more performances at different locations.
