AAL Harvest Faire
September 29, 2001
San Jose, California
On a beautiful autumn day, the Backdoor Puppet's and Jubilant Grace provided the main entertainment for the AAL's Annual Harvest Faire. The event, which was hosted at St. Timothy's in San Jose, was to benefit the Lord's Pantry for Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
After brief introductions, St. Mark's Jubilant Grace and Backdoor Puppets provided ninety minutes of great entertainment.
In total, Jubilant Grace sang eleven songs from their repertoire of songs. Based on the enthusiastic reaction from the crowd, the songs were well received.
And what would a Praise Band be without a really COOL drummer...which Jubilant Grace has in its very own Pastor Rod. Great shades!!!
With Jubilant Grace providing the music, the Backdoor Puppets provided the drama.
Backdoor Puppets gave three performances: "Harvest Faire", "Daniel an the Lion's Den" and "The First Sin."
In addition to Drama, the Backdoor Puppets provide some really good bell ringing music. For the Harvest Faire, they played several patriotic songs.
Ever wonder what the bell ringers might look like behind the scenes...well here they are!
Of course, what would a Harvest Faire be without lots of attractions for the kids. With many booths to test one's skills, the children had a great time earning some prizes.
In the case of this young lady, a lot was to be said about spending some time bouncing around in the fun castle. I think someone probably slept really well that night!
In addition, St. Mark offers many activities for all age groups, including Sunday worship, Bible class and Sunday School. For further information, call St. Mark at (408) 736-6605. In addition, you can find more information on our web site by clicking here!
