St. Mark Outreach with
Sunnyvale Community Services

December 14, 2006

On December 14th, fifteen St. Mark volunteers went to Sunnyvale Community Services to assist with their annual Community Christmas Center.

The Community Christmas Center affords families the dignity of selecting a two-week supply of food, new gifts for infants through teens, and a gift for every household (towels, blankets, basic kitchen items).

Over 600 volunteers move tons of food and supplies, sort food and toys, stock shelves, escort clients, accept and pick up donations, and staff the reception area.

St. Mark's volunteers, working in two 2-hour shifts stocked shelves, wrapped gifts and provided other support to prepare the store for the next day's clients.

St. Mark has been blessed with the opportunities to serve the Sunnyvale community in various activities including Sunnyvale Community Services.
