St. Mark's 1998 Candlelight Christmas Eve Service

For many years, St. Mark has held a Candlelight Christmas Eve service which contained many Bible readings about the Christmas story, along with the singing of many popular Christmas anthems. The highlight is always the singing of Silent Night as worshipers ring the darkened sanctuary, holding their candles.

With the sanctuary ringed with people holding candles, St. Mark joins in the singing of Silent Night.

As participants stood in near darkness singing the hymn, it allowed all to ponder the true meaning of Christmas, which is the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior.

St. Mark's prayers are with you as we enter a new year and continue grow in our relationship with God.
